Mariane Bekker has led engineering teams through 6 exits at VC-backed startups in Silicon Valley, including New Relic and Mindbody. Most recently, she founded Upward Recruiting to help companies hire diverse tech talent, leading to more than 25 successful placements at startups in the previous year. Before this, she was a Director of Engineering at Mindbody, where she expanded the engineering team from 7 to over 50 engineers while maintaining a 50% ratio of women engineers.
