Summary
Incidents are a reality for every Engineering team delivering Software as an (online) service (SaaS). In this roundtable, In this discussion, I hope to bring out different perspectives from my peers on how to formulate the best possible Incident Management strategy and process, exchange information on what tools and practices have worked well for them and, hopefully, discuss some real-world examples of incidents that taught valuable lessons. We might also touch upon topics such as keeping morale high during times, encouraging a blameless culture and leading from the front.

With 17+ years in software engineering, including leadership at small to mid-sized companies, Nikhil has led Engineering teams in delivering transformative products. Notably, Nikhil oversaw a 60+ member team at Earnest, a FinTech company focused on solving the student debt challenge. Prior to leading engineering teams at startups, Nikhil was part of teams that developed renowned products like GoToMeeting and LendingClub's loans platform.
