Sushant is the Sr. Director of Machine Learning at RingCentral (NYSE:RNG) where he focuses on building the next generation Conversational Intelligence Platform. Previously, he was the co-founder and CTO at DeepAffects, a pioneering speech AI startup which was acquired by RingCentral. With a strong academic research background, Sushant has authored numerous patents and research papers that underscore his expertise in the field.
Yu Pan is the Chief Model Risk Officer at US Bank, where he leads the enterprise model risk functions, responsible for identifying/managing model risks, and overseeing the validation/use of models and analytical tools, including AI/ML within the Bank.
Yu Pan has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, leading model development, validation, and implementation, as well as risk management, business strategy and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining US Bank 2018, he was SVP at Wells Fargo for 13 years, where he began by leading risk modeling and later became the head of model review/validation covering a wide range of models for credit decisioning, capital planning, financial crime, and compliances. Yu Pan also has worked at HSBC and Delta Airlines in research, decision support, and analytics roles. Before that, he was an assistant professor at the Hong Kong Baptist University business school. Yu Pan holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota.
Grace Chu was most recently the inaugural AI/ML and lead data use attorney for Adobe’s Digital Experience business, with $4.42 billion in revenue in fiscal 2022. She has advised clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to local startups in open source, copyright, licensing, and M&A. Grace believes early communication regarding goals, risk tolerance, and expectations is crucial to receiving high-quality legal services while reducing time and spend. Outside of work, Grace enjoys relaxing with friends, researching investments and charities, and reading award-winning cookbooks while looking forward to meal delivery.
