Claus Moberg is a VP of Engineering and leads all Roblox application groups including the Universal App, Game Discovery, and Social teams. In his role, he is tasked with building a digital co-experience application – one that seamlessly and intuitively gets users from any device into one of the millions of Roblox experiences online.
Moberg joined Roblox in August 2016 as an engineering director leading the console and VR teams. After a year, he was promoted to lead the mobile gameplay and mobile apps teams. In that role, he helped rebuild Roblox's application infrastructure and UI from the ground-up.
Prior to joining Roblox, Moberg was the chief executive officer of SnowShoe, a physical transaction authentication hardware for mobile devices. Moberg led the company from its inception in 2010 until he joined Roblox in 2016.
Maria is a co-founder and an engineering leader at Graft, an early-stage AI startup. Prior to that, Maria worked at Netflix, where her team earned two Emmy awards for technical achievement. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University. Outside of work, you can find Maria kickboxing & trail running, baking & eating carbs, or relaxing with a non-fiction book and her two feline supurrvisors, Foosball and Gemma.
