AI agents now write a meaningful share of production code, but most engineering organizations still measure productivity the same way they did five years ago. This talk explores what the next generation of engineering analytics looks like when work spans prompt to production. We'll cover three emerging pillars: Engineering Intelligence, which measures real output and bottlenecks across humans and AI rather than proxy metrics; Token Intelligence, which reframes AI spend around cost, efficiency, and quality instead of raw token counts, benchmarked against peer organizations; and Agent Routing, an optimization layer that classifies every prompt and routes it to the model with the best quality per token, turning analytics from a passive dashboard into a system that actively improves how work gets done. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for measuring and optimizing an engineering org where humans and agents ship side by side.

Andrew Churchill
Co-founder & CTO @ Weave
Andrew Churchill is the co-founder and CTO of Weave (YC W25), where he leads the engineering behind an intelligence platform that measures AI's impact on software development, helping teams see what's actually being shipped from prompt to production. Before Weave, Andrew was the first employee at Causal, where he built core systems. Andrew earned his degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from MIT and is based in San Francisco.
