Over the past few months, we have chatted with over 100 members about the challenges they’re facing. The most pressing challenge we heard is hiring and growing their team. Why is this such a pressing challenge? The landscape of hiring has completely changed this past year. We face new hurdles and variables that surfaced with the transition to a remote (and soon hybrid) work cultures:

  • How do I source quality candidates now that location is no longer a constraint?
  • How to factor in local cultural norms during interviews?
  • How to compensate fairly and competitively in new markets?
  • How do I compete with companies with deep pockets and should I even try?
  • How do I design a process that scales as we grow?

To better equip engineering leaders to navigate these new challenges, we’re hosting a one-day “mini-summit” to bring together leaders and experts across the industry to share insights on both the macro and micro, facilitate 1:1 conversations, and engage in deep small group discussions. We want participants to walk away with new insights, tips, and guidance on how to tackle this pressing and timely challenge.
