Scott is the CEO and co-founder of Sublayer, a platform that helps people use generative AI to build software.
Previously, he was the CTO and co-founder of Sayspring, a prototyping tool for Amazon Echo and Google Home which was acquired by Adobe in 2018. During his time there he built and led the team that created Adobe Podcast.
Before that he was an early engineer at SideTour, which was acquired by Groupon in 2013, and he went on to lead the engineering team and launch Groupon Live's ticketed event platform.
Tony Ren is the Head of Risk Engineering at Brex, a company reimagining financial systems to enable growing companies to realize their full potential by taking control of their spend and business as they scale. He leads Risk and Access group, ensuring the smooth onboarding of companies and their employees, while protecting Brex, its customers, and upholding the integrity of the financial market. With a decade in fraud prevention, Tony has crafted machine learning solutions that safeguard financial institutions, from credit unions to global banks, against threats. Before Brex, his efforts in combating fraud made the financial realm safer for many. Passionate and vigilant, Tony envisions a future where technology serves as a shield, ever-evolving but always protective.
Daniela Miao is the Cofounder of Momento, a serverless distributed caching platform. Previously, she was the Director of Platform Engineering at Lightstep, and tech lead at AWS DynamoDB. Daniela has spoken at many events including re:Invent, QCon, and Kubecon. At Momento, she works on distributed system performance, observability, security, and the intersection of engineering with business.
Luis Fernando De Pombo is the co-founder and CEO of Alan Technologies, a startup that builds open-source developer tooling that leverages generative AI. Previously, he was the co-founder of a YC startup that calculated last-minute pricing on unused seats for airlines. Before that, he was at Uber where he launched the first spatially precise dynamic pricing algorithm worldwide and founded the marketplace experimentation team to prevent A/B experiment contamination. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.
