Nate has worked in the security space for over 20 years across startups and the Fortune 50 in engineering, architect and leadership roles. He was the Chief Information Security Officer, also responsible for SRE, Platform Engineering, and IT at Tradeshift where he secured over a trillion dollars of global trade transactions for some of the largest companies and banks in the world. More recently, Nate founded Cloudsec.ai, providing fractional CISO services to engineering-forward software companies, ensuring their security programs align with their broader business goals of rapidly delivering value to customers. He also developed O'Reilly's AI for Cybersecurity Professionals course and is the lead author of a 2024 Cloud Security Alliance research paper on building secure, AI backed systems.
Srinath Kuruvadi is the Managing Director and Head of Product Security for Cloud at JPMorganchase, where he leads security of public cloud assets including adjacent areas such as APIs, containers and storage security. With over 2 decades of cybersecurity experience, Srinath is a senior information security executive with an established track record in delivering impactful risk management outcomes by leveraging deep technical knowledge in security and privacy with software engineering approaches to securing large scale cloud environments. Prior to JPMorganChase, Srinath served as Head of Cloud Security at Netflix with previous security leadership roles at Lyft, Snap, Facebook and Google. He currently serves as a Global CISO advisory board member for AWS and advisor/investor on a variety of cybersecurity startups. Srinath was born and raised in Bangalore/India and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India, and Master of Science in Computer Science with Security specialty from North Carolina State University.
Swathi Joshi is a VP and Deputy CISO of SaaS Cloud Security at Oracle. She has been a security practitioner for 14+ years and combines her proactive security and defense operations experience to build and scale risk-based security organizations. She has been a successful security executive, incident response consultant, and Java developer. Swathi advises investors, startups, and practitioners and has spoken at multiple technology conferences internationally, including FIRST, OWASP Global, and Enigma. She has been featured in multiple publications and currently serves on two nonprofit boards, Forte group- focused on women CISOs, and Thousand Lights- an educational foundation for underprivileged girls in India. She currently sits on the Nation Security Institutes Cyber and Innovation Council and is part of Firstboards Cyber Tech Council.
