Daniel Portillo is a seasoned venture capitalist and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the tech industry. He is the co-founder of The General Partnership, a venture capital firm that focuses on helping companies grow from early stages to scale. Before co-founding The General Partnership, Daniel was a prominent Operating Partner at Greylock, where he played a key role in building the firm’s talent network and supporting portfolio companies with their hiring and organizational development. He also worked closely with the United States Digital Service, assisting in recruiting top tech talent to improve government digital services. Earlier in his career, Daniel held significant positions at Mozilla, where he was instrumental in leading recruitment and HR efforts. Daniel Portillo holds a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and is known for his expertise in connecting the right people, products, and opportunities to accelerate company growth and success
Tomas is the CPO and one of the co-founders of Graphite.dev: an a16z-backed company focused on bringing the same internal code review tools that companies like Google and Facebook have, to everyone else. Today, Graphite powers code review for companies like Datadog, Asana, Ramp, and Vercel. Before starting Graphite, Tomas worked at Facebook as a software engineer leading a team of 30. His background is in developer velocity, and he has a passion for frontend JavaScript frameworks and pushing the bounds of the web. These days you can find him talking about the outer loop of developer tools or hacking on Graphite’s upcoming AI reviewer.
Michael is the founder and CEO of WorkOS, a developer platform that enables companies to become Enterprise Ready through features like Single Sign-On (SAML). Their customers include many of the fastest-growing startups including Webflow, Drata, Loom, and +200 others. Before WorkOS, Michael co-founded Nylas and studied CS at MIT.
