Selina Tobaccowala is Chief Digital Officer of Openfit, the all-in-one digital streaming platform for integrated fitness, nutrition, and wellness, where she leads engineering, product, and design. Prior to joining Openfit, she was the co-founder and CEO of Gixo, an innovative live workout fitness start-up acquired by Openfit. Selina also served as the President & CTO at SurveyMonkey, leading the company to become the world’s dominant online survey platform, with 16 million surveys processed per day. Before SurveyMonkey, she was SVP of Product and Technology at Ticketmaster, where she oversaw European engineering and product operations. Selina started her career in her Stanford dorm room where she co-founded Evite, the online invitation service, along with Al Lieb (co-founder of Gixo). Selina currently serves on the board of directors at Redfin, a $1.8 billion dollar full-service technology-enabled real estate brokerage company. Selina graduated with honors from Stanford University with a B.S. in Computer Science and lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children.

David Hornik

General Partner @ August Capital

David Hornik is a General Partner at August Capital where he invests in consumer and enterprise software and services. He has worked closely with startups for the last 20 years. Prior to joining August, David was a litigator at Cravath Swaine & Moore, and corporate and licensing attorney at Venture Law Group and Perkins Coie. David is the author of the first venture capital blog, VentureBlog, and the first venture capital podcast, VentureCast. He is the founder and producer of The Lobby conferences, a series of events that gather the thought leaders in consumer and enterprise technology. David holds an AB in Computer Music from Stanford, an M.Phil in Criminology from Cambridge University, and a JD from Harvard Law School. David teaches entrepreneurship and venture capital at Harvard Law School and at Stanford Business School. Along with sitting on the boards of numerous technology startups, David also sits on the board of GLAAD.
