About this Event

Engineering leadership can feel like a lonely journey filled with painful challenges. But the truth is you’re not alone! We’re creating a place for local engineering leaders to come together, share challenges, gain outside perspectives, and become better leaders.

Join us for light bites and drinks to help shape the future of engineering leadership in LA for our first local chapter meetup! GoodRx will be hosting us at their office in their hidden Scottish Speakeasy! Space is limited, so we're capping this event at 40 participants.

We will hear from LA Chapter leaders about why they decided to bring a chapter of ELC to LA. We will then break out into roundtable discussions.

These roundtables provide a unique format for you to engage with fellow engineering leaders in Los Angeles. Each roundtable will focus on a specific theme or challenge, allowing for in-depth discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving. It's a chance to dive deep into topics that matter most to you and your organization.

Possible topics will include:

  1. Communicating engineering to the business
  2. Scaling engineering teams for productivity
  3. Adopting/Resisting generative AI
  4. Imposter syndrome
  5. Leading in difficult times
  6. Relevance/importance of management in today’s tech landscape

Organized by local leaders:

  1.  Dave Moore [President @ Pragmint]
  2.  Kris Chase [Vice President of Software Engineering @ Talent Systems]
