"Hello, world!"
The first exciting meetup event is coming up for our amazingly talented group.
We all come with different backgrounds and experiences, but share the same interest in engineering leadership. It plays such an important role at work, with no school to learn from.
The meetup provides a great opportunity for us to get together, learn from each other, build up new connections, make new friends and help each other out in the long run.
The first event will be hosted at Groupon San Francisco office, with free food and drinks. Most importantly, we are honored to have our inspiring guest speaker, Dan Pupius (https://www.linkedin.com/in/danpupius), Head of Engineering at Medium (https://medium.com/).
Dan's talk will look at different operating principals through the lens of evolution of group behavior. He hopes to provide a vocabulary and conceptual framework to think about how company operates, and to compare new concepts that are emerging as people think about the future of work.
Everyone who works in the engineering management field or maybe just feel interested are welcome to join.
