Growing an engineering team (or 4) is no walk in the park. In this event, Simon will take you through some approaches you can take if you ever find yourself in this situation. The talk will touch on:

• Functional vs behavioral interviewing

• Tips and tricks for hiring the engineers you need

• Pointers around how to keep your companies culture and products safe as you go through rapid growth

Logistics

• Use the east entrance of the building to get to Twitch HQ on the 9th floor.

• For Bart/Muni, get off at the Montgomery St Station, take Exit A4 towards Sansom & Shutter St. The building will be on your left.

• For parking, St. Mary's Square Garage at 433 Kearny Street is a good option. Cheap and with plenty of space. 5 minutes walk to the building.
