Guest Speaker Series: Transitions in Leadership

One of biggest challenges for engineering leadership is to navigate through a series of transitions, e.g. engineer -> managers, frontline managers -> Sr. managers. These transitions are tough as they often involve tapping into the unknown (new knowledge, best practices, paradigm, etc), thus are hard to figure out on one's own.

In this event, Matt Greenberg (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mattgreenberg), Sr. Director of Engineering at Credit Karma (https://www.creditkarma.com), will share insights and tips to help get through these tough transitions. In his talk, Matt will cover:

• How to set context from the get-go with reports, how to use feedback

• Situational leadership model for building trust

• How to enable career growth for you and your reports.

To access the building after 6pm, guests will sign in downstairs and go to the 7th floor to register. Please bring your photo ID as alcoholic beverages will be available to those over 21 years of age.
